И ове године је наша парохија у Сан Маркосу била домаћин окупљања православног свештенства и верног народа шире области Сан Дијега у току Великопосних богослужења, у четврту недељу поста, 22. марта 2026. године.

Заједничком сабрању на Вечерњем богослужењу присуствовали су: Fr. Peter Carmichael (OCA), Fr. Andrew Cuneo (St. Katherine's OCA), Fr. Michael Anderson (St. John of Damascus, OCA), Fr. Joseph Mai (Church of the Resurrection, serving the Vietnamese community) и Deacon Hallvard Blomgren (St. Anthony Antiochian Church, San Diego).  Домаћин, о. Милован Катанић, био је за певницом.  

О св. Јовану Лествичнику и његовој чувеној књизи "Рајска Лествица" беседио је Fr. Michael, затим је све присустне поздравио о. Милован, пожелио добро-дошлицу и позвао у црквену салу где је упрличена трпеза љубави.

Our parish in San Marcos hosted this year as well the fourth Sunday of Great Lent, Mid-Lent, the gathering of the Orthodox clergy and faithful of the greater San Diego area during the Lenten Sunday Vespers, on the fourth Sunday of Lent, March 22, 2026.

Attending the Vespers were: Fr. Peter Carmichael (OCA), Fr. Andrew Cuneo (St. Katherine's OCA), Fr. Michael Anderson (St. John of Damascus, OCA), Fr. Joseph Mai (Church of the Resurrection, Russian Church Abroad-serving the Vietnamese community) and Deacon Hallvard Blomgren (St. Anthony Antiochian Church, San Diego).  The host priest, Fr. Milovan Katanic, was at the chanter's stand.

At the end of Vespers Fr. Michael delivered the homily, speaking about St. John of the Ladder and his famous book "The Ladder of Divine Ascent", after which Fr. Milovan greeted all the clergy and faithful welcoming them to St. Petka Church and invited them to the church hall for an agape meal.
